The Pattern

Like Leda's Portrait, The Pattern aired on NBC's dark anthology series Lights Out in 1951, while Levin was a twenty two year old just-out-of-college grad. It starred – in addition to June Dayton and Richard Sanders – future Dynasty patriarch John Forsythe, as the haunted Al March.

Even at this early stage, Levin's characters don't sit idly by under the weight of events at hand – instead, they work to arrive at an understanding of their true nature, and consider various ways of both interpreting, and reacting, to them.
