2014's Paris-relocated mini-series actually began life over ten years earlier, as a planned melding of Rosemary's Baby and its sequel Son of Rosemary. Over that time, the project changed hands, and it wound up ultimately being confined in scope to a straight reworking of the 1968 film. The mini-series' credits still harken back to its original design, citing both works as source material.
