Before DRAT! THE CAT! debuted on Broadway, it began life under the title CAT AND MOUSE – sporting a score written entirely by Ira Levin himself—both words and music! Its songs were subsequently reworked and/or replaced entirely with new numbers, all featuring composer Milton Schafer's expert melodies.
On May 13th 2025, the J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company will be giving CAT AND MOUSE its first-ever public performance, in a one-night-only concert reading. With a capacity of just a hundred seats, space is at a premium – so pounce, don't slink, to get your tickets to this jewel of an event!
